Flats worth Rs 8 cr for Rs 85 lakh

I believe it is our armed forces that still earn our respect. The latest scandal is the 31 storey building of flats that command a price of Rs 8 crore in the market that are being sold to bureaucrats, politicians and (ex)officers from the forces for Rs 85 lakh. The land had been given by the state government for flats for Kargil war widows. Yesterday (29th Oct) an apology was issued by a retired officer who said they were unaware of the real beneficiaries of the land and that they would  return the flats. That's good!
